As part of his tour of the country’s public and private companies, the Minister of People’s Power for Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza, visited the mixed company Vhicoa, located in Bolivar State this Saturday.
Minister Arreaza, alongside his work team and the working class, inspected the production processes of this plant, with which the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG) is developing an alliance for the manufacture of parts and pieces for the Basic companies.
Previously, these parts were imported, which constitutes a relevant advance in import substitution towards technological sovereignty.
Vhicoa is a joint venture dedicated to designing, engineering, manufacturing, and assembling pressure vessels and large-format steel structures for industrial, residential, commercial, and educational use; among others, products for the domestic and international markets.
