Minister Jose Biomorgi participates in the 3rd National Meeting of the CPTTs

Under the slogan “Towards the economic independence of the Homeland,” the 3rd National Meeting of the Workers’ Productive Councils (CPTT) was held this Saturday in Caracas. A strategic space for deliberation that will serve over two days as a platform for the country’s authorities and the working class to forge a plan of action that will allow progress towards the productive development of the nation.

This meeting’s opening session included contextualization presentations by the People’s Power Ministers for the Social Process of Labor, Jose Ramon Rivero; Industries and National Production, Jose Biomorgi; and Food, Carlos Leal Telleria. It took place at the Venezuelan School of Planning (in Caracas) under the videoconference modality with 38 rooms in the whole country.

The objective of this space is not only focused on the synergy between the Bolivarian Government and the CPPTs to guarantee the timely access of goods and services to the Venezuelan people, but also on the discussion of the regulations of these instances of the organized working class that will be submitted to President Nicolas Maduro.

In his speech, Minister José Biomorgi underlined how indispensable it is for workers and laborers to empower themselves and take total control of the productive spaces to achieve the necessary transformations.

“There is no transformation possible without the active participation of the working class, and there is no increase in production and real transformation of production without workers’ control,” he emphasized.

The head of the industrial office reiterated that a new productive model was born in Venezuela. That is to serve the nation and not of imperialist interests.

“We remain in permanent revolution to consolidate this transformation process and make it irreversible,” he added.

In its first phase, the national meeting of the CPTTs focused on the debate on the implementation of the 3R.NETS. It includes a diagnosis of the map of problems and possible solutions for concrete action agendas, and the socialist business management model for the action agenda in public and communal enterprises.

In this sense, the Minister of the Social Labor Process said that there are sectors with positive experiences that set a course for the empowerment of workers.

“So that the working class participates in a leading role in the product development, in the planning, in the follow-up of the plan and that, effectively, we can continue along the path of increasing production and be more and more sovereign from the technological and productive point of view,” he specified.

Minister Rivero acknowledged the effort of the working class in the development of its technology, “with little doing a lot,” to strategically face the illegal blockade imposed on the Bolivarian nation.

“This is the challenge we have in the face of the call made by President Nicolas Maduro for the year 2030 to consolidate the irreversibility of the revolution and that on that date we can advance firmly in the consolidation of Venezuelan socialism,” he added.

CPTT at the forefront

The Minister of Food, Carlos Leal Telleria, stated that the CPTTs have been at the forefront of the battle Venezuela wages against the United States blockade and its allies since their creation in 2016.

“To guarantee, above all, essential goods for our people, to guarantee the production of food, medicines” and other Basic inputs.

However, the authorities of the Bolivarian Government agreed on the advances that the country has experienced. And thanks to the working class, not only in the economic field but also at the production level.

The 3rd National Meeting of the CPTTs takes place within the framework of the 4th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitutional Law of the Workers’ Productive Councils.
