Ministers Biomorgi and Serantes evaluate strategies to strengthen productive capacity in the mining sector

The People’s Power Minister of Industries and National Production and Ecological Mining Development, Jose Gregorio Biomorgi, and William Serantes held a working meeting this Tuesday to evaluate joint strategies to strengthen the productive capacity in the mining and metals sector.

The ministry authorities specifically discussed the promotion of these sectors, which Minister Biomorgi valued as the primary axes of the industrial policy under the guidelines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.

They evaluated the potential of the companies attached to both agencies within the framework of institutional cooperation and the strengthening of the productive engines.

El Minero, one of the 18 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, seeks to promote mining in a legal, controlled, and orderly manner and as a proposal to ensure the construction of a healthy and stable economy.

President Nicolas Maduro created the Bolivarian Economic Agenda to promote the construction of a new economic scheme involving public and private companies in Venezuela.
