Venezuela and Belarus tighten ties to strengthen the Santa Inés Industrial Complex

The Minister of Industries and National Production, Juan Arias, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Venezuela, Andrei Molchan, met this Thursday to review and strengthen the binational industrial agreements, intending to increase the productivity of the three plants of the Santa Inés Industrial Complex, in Barinas. The meeting ratified the activation of assembly lines which increases the production of tractors, trucks, forklifts, and other machines per month. The progressive inclusion of more parts and pieces manufactured by Venezuelan companies; and deepening agreements between the public and private sectors, to extend the distribution network of these products and the after-sales services.

Arias assured that he is open to all healthy alliances that maximize the capacities of companies such as Mazven, Veneminsk Tractors, and Maquinaria Barinas. He highlighted that the road map in progress is already bearing fruits: “We are working so that these projects are profitable and successful in time; solving the problems of these companies so that they become prosperous and generate many products for the benefit of the working class. Together we will achieve Productive, Popular, and Prolonged Peace”.

Molchan highlighted the creativity and effort to overcome the logistical and payment obstacles imposed by the sanctions and the geopolitical crisis in Ukraine; and ratified the readiness to seek non-monetary formulas for cooperation. “I am glad to meet a great friend of Belarus. The minister knows the nation’s industrial potential and the companies we keep in agreements. I am very enthusiastic.

Ambassador Molchan also expressed his interest in achieving balanced trade. Meanwhile, Minister Arias ratified the willingness to give continuity to these cooperation mechanisms to benefit the producers and peoples of both nations.
