Within the framework of the 101st Anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation and the 1st Anniversary of the National Aeronautical Company (EANSA), the Expo Aeronautical Technology ETA 2021 “Opening the Aerospace Heart to the World” was inaugurated, with more than 15,000m² of the commercial exhibition, conference areas, business rounds, air parade, parachuting show, aircraft statics, and flight simulator, among others.
This initiative seeks to turn Venezuela into a Passenger and Cargo Connection Center, promoting the development of the Venezuelan aeronautical industry. In this sense, institutions and companies of the public and private sectors will be showing the best of their products and services during November 05, 06, and 07 at “Los Aviadores Park” located in Maracay, Aragua State.
During the inaugural gala, Chief General Nestor Reverol (sectorial vice-president for Public Works and Services), accompanied by the People’s Power Minister for Transport, Hipolito Abreu, the General Commander of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, Chief Major Jose Rafael Silva Aponte, began the day with the signing of the gratuitous bailment agreement between the Bolivarian Military Aviation and “Bolivariana de Aeropuerto” (BAER) for the transfer of the space (north sector of El Libertador Air Base) where the Chief General Jose Felix Rivas International Airport will be under construction in the state of Aragua.
The colorful participation of the “Arnaldo Rengifo” Nationalist Dances provided the touch of culture as the invited authorities, including the Vice-Minister of Small and Medium Industry and New Productive Forms, Diana Castillo, accompanied the tour of the stands.
It is worth mentioning that during the event, the biosecurity measures promoted by the Bolivarian Government to guarantee the health of all those present were fully respected. As an example of a discipline that shows that the extended flexibilization is not synonymous with carelessness, but the result of the application of strategies duly conceived by specialists and that today allow us to resume productive activities for the nation.
