President Maduro swears in new ministers of the Venezuelan Executive Cabinet

From the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, swears in new members of the Bolivarian Executive Cabinet.

This Thursday, upon informing about the appointment of the new officials that will integrate his Executive Cabinet, the Head of State thanked the commendable work carried out by the outgoing ministers and wished the exceptional success to those who now assume the task of holding the reins of the ministerial portfolios.

Among the changes, he appointed the former Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza as the new Minister of Industries and National Production, whom the Head of State praised his work capacity, intelligence, and commitment.

In his position, Felix Plasencia will be head of Venezuelan diplomacy, who has been Venezuela’s ambassador to the People’s Republic of China since 2020.

Margaud Godoy, who served as governor of Cojedes state (center-northwest), will lead the People’s Power Ministry for Women and Gender Equality; While Mervin Maldonado will assume the new sectoral vice-presidency for Social and Territorial Socialism.

Admiral William Serantes Pinto will be the new Minister of Ecological Mining Development, while Yelitze Santaella, who worked as Governor of the State of Monagas, will be in charge of the People’s Power Ministry for Education.

In this regard, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso will be in charge as Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace and Vice-President of the Government for Citizen Security.

This Friday, President Maduro announced the appointment of Roside Virginia Gonzalez as the new People’s Power Minister for Indigenous Peoples.
