Minister Jorge Arreaza supervised SIDOR’s production processes

The People’s Minister for Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza, carried out his second visit to Siderurgica Del Orinoco “Alfredo Maneiro” (SIDOR), in Ciudad Guayana, on Thursday;  where he supervised some of the processes carried out in the primary Venezuelan steel producer.

Particularly those activities related to the production of steel rods from steel billets, the production of steel billets. The Minister also supervised those activities relating to the activation of furnaces and reduction processes.

Minister Arreaza kept in direct contact with the workers of Midrex II, one of SIDOR’s 12 operating plants, who explained the productive advances and innovations in each area.

“My recognition to the working class and its capabilities,” he expressed after the tour in a message posted on his Twitter account @jaarreaza.

CVG Review

On Thursday, the head of the Ministry of Industries and National Production also visited the administrative headquarters of the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), meeting with the directors of each company.

This meeting was promising to review the processes and projects underway and “the immense effort of the Workers’ Productive Councils to substitute imports.”

Minister Arreaza maintains a tour of the country’s public and private companies to coordinate actions to stimulate and leverage the national productive apparatus.
