National government articulates integral policy for the forestry sector and motor

This Friday, in Chaguaramas, Monagas state, the People’s Power Minister for Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza, continued his agenda of unplanned inspections to the country’s public and private industries, visiting the state-owned and mixed companies Maderas del Orinoco and Mavetur, respectively.

On the border between the states of Anzoátegui and Monagas is located one of the largest forests in the world, capable of assuring the supply of wood and forestry goods for decades, thanks to the Caribbean Pine plantations.

From this tour, Minister Arreaza highlighted the productive pace and knowledge of these companies in the timber sector.

“We are working on a comprehensive policy for the entire national forestry sector and motor,” announced the head of the industrial portfolio through his Twitter account @jarreaza.

Forestry is one of the 15 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, a mechanism that promotes the construction of a new economic scheme in which socialist companies and the country’s private sector participate
