Without prior notice, the People’s Power Minister of Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza, visited this Wednesday, the mixed company “Industrias de Electrodomesticos C.A” (INELEC). This company manufactures and commercializes domestic and semi-industrial fans and air extractors, located in Aragua State.
During the tour of the facilities, the minister verified the production processes and held conversations with both the company’s directors and the working class, with the vision of boosting production in this factory.
“There is great mysticism in the workers. We have overcome together the obstacles of the blockade and, production has been recovered. In 2022, we will expand its product offering,” he highlighted through his Twitter account @jaarreaza.
Inelec was founded on May 3, 1977, in Caracas. In its beginnings, it was dedicated to the import of household appliances to introduce them to the market and subsequently produce them in the country.
In 2012 part of its shares were negotiated with the Venezuelan government, and the People’s Power Ministry of Industries and National Production took over almost all of the company’s assets.
Inelec is currently the largest manufacturer of small household appliances and the brand of fans with the largest presence of products in the market, using the recognized Taurus brand.
