Ministries of Industries and National Production and Transportation establish an alliance to strengthen the naval sector

The People’s Power Ministry of Industries and National Production and the Ministry of Transportation agreed this Friday to establish a complementary inter-institutional alliance to strengthen the naval and transportation industry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

On the basis of this agreement, the companies Aluminio del Caroní, S.A. (CVG Alcasa) and Aluminio de Carabobo S. A. (CVG Alucasa), both supervised by the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), will produce aluminum for the naval industry, while the parts and pieces for transportation will be manufactured at the Industrial Complex Factory of Factories “Hugo Chávez Frías”, located in Anaco, Anzoategui State.

This alliance was announced during the inauguration in La Guaira of the ExpoAcuatica 2021 which is taking place within the framework of the II Meeting of the Aquatic Sector, being an important part of the strategic objectives that guide the Great Venezuelan Transport Mission.

The opening ceremony was conducted by the sectorial vice-president of Public Works and Services, Nestor Reverol, the ministers of Transportation, Hipolito Abreu, and the ministry Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza.

The purpose of this exhibition, which brings together 12 State entities and more than 50 private companies, is to exchange experiences and generate fair and transparent business conditions that allow taking advantage of the potential of the companies of the aquatic sector, under the vision of a harmonious interrelation and institutional recognition.

This exhibition will be open to the public between October 30 to 31 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm; at the Dr. Jose Maria Vargas Maritime Terminal, Port of La Guaira.
