The national government evaluates plans for the planting and protection of forests

Within the framework of the policies promoted by the Bolivarian Government to strengthen the national productive apparatus, the People’s Power Minister for Industries and National Production, Jorge Arreaza, flew over the Pino Caribe plantations and the facilities of “Maderas del Orinoco” in the state of Monagas this Friday.

From the nursery Uverito, the head of the industrial portfolio evaluated the plan for the planting and forests protection, such as the recovery of firebreaks and the expansion of the forestry engine and industry.

Forestry is one of the 15 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, a mechanism that promotes the construction of a new economic scheme in which public companies and the country’s private sector participate.

Last September, Minister Arreaza visited Maderas del Orinoco, a company supervised by the “Corporación Venezolana de Guayana” (CVG), an entity attached to the Ministry of Industries and National Production.

At that time, he highlighted the excellent productive rhythm and announced that there would be an integral policy adopted for the entire sector and the national forestry engine.

This weekend’s overflight was made possible with the support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
