Minister Biomorgi supervises production lines at the Civetchi vehicle assembly plant

This Tuesday, the People’s Power Minister of Industries and National Production, Jose Biomorgi, visited the vehicle assembly plant Civetchi in Carabobo State to verify the processes and spaces in the production lines of sedans and trucks vehicles.

The inspection led to a fruitful assembly with the working class of the plant located in the Industrial Zone of Valencia, where workers elucidated some concerns and shared their experiences regarding the increase in production.

“They told us how they started the company two years ago and have been increasing productivity, how they had to adapt the manuals and make tests in the assembly,” said the minister after the inspection.

This year the company assembled more than 400 vehicles, including sedans, trucks, and bus units.

Minister Biomorgi praised the extraordinary work carried out daily at the plant, despite the economic blockade and the international pressure imposed on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The Venezuelan Industrial Consortium of Chinese Technology (Civetchi) was intervened in 2015 by the Bolivarian Government for incurring several irregularities. Then, in 2017, the National Executive decreed the company of public utility and social interest and ordered by Decree the compulsory acquisition of all its assets.
