Venezuela and Belarus adjust the plan to reactivate the tractor and machinery factory in Barinas

After the installation, this Wednesday in Caracas of the VIII Venezuela-Belarus High-Level Joint Commission, delegations from both countries traveled to the state of Barinas to jointly inspect the Santa Ines Industrial Complex, headquarters of the Veneminsk, Mazven, and Maquinarias Barinas joint ventures.

“Complying with the instruction of President Nicolas Maduro, today we made a technical inspection of the Santa Ines Industrial Complex, with the Belarusian delegation, for the prompt reactivation of the tractor and machinery factory. We were alongside our brother Jorge Arreaza”, highlighted on Twitter by the People’s Power Minister of Industries and National Production, Jose Biomorgi.

During the technical inspection, the parties verified that the facilities of Veneminsk, which manufactures tractors; those of Mazven and Maquinarias Barinas, which manufacture trucks and machinery, are in optimal conditions for their start-up in 2022.

“All the facilities are in perfect condition, and we are preparing the definitive plan for the start-up of this industrial complex during the first quarter of next year. Just as promised by our brother Jorge Arreaza and our President Nicolas Maduro just a week ago,” Minister Biomorgi added.

The VIII Venezuela-Belarus High-Level Joint Commission will develop work tables during two days in Caracas, where science and technology, industry, agriculture, transportation, housing, petrochemicals, and food are topics to be discussed.
