Cement sales operations directly to the people have benefited more than 20,000 people in the country.
As part of the social policies of the Government of President Nicolas Maduro to meet the needs of the Venezuelan people and to continue strengthening the various sectors of the national economy, the “Corporacion Socialista Del Cemento” (CSC) has developed a series of open-air cement sales campaigns to distribute the strategic material to the population at a fair price and with easy access.
During these days, the cement industry has distributed more than 80,000 bags of cement, gray glue, and mixer, directly benefiting more than 25,000 people in more than 15 states of the country.
It should be noted that thanks to the creation and activation of 55 Workers’ Productive Councils (CPTT), as well as the participation of the working class, cement production throughout the country has increased by more than 60%.
This way, CSC supplies the national market and combats the mafias that resell this construction material, and also manages to reduce the price of cement in bags by more than 65% for easy access of the people.
In this sense, an inhabitant of the parish of Guacara, Carabobo state, Wilmer Mejia, expressed his gratitude to President Nicolas Maduro for promoting this type of cement campaign sales and urged the Bolivarian Government to continue with these actions for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.
Users who benefited from the cement sales day in the state of Miranda described the event as extraordinary. Such is the case of Eli Alvarado, an inhabitant of Santa Lucia del Tuy, who added that 215 communities belonging to this parish were attended through this initiative, allowing the equitable distribution of the strategic material.
Similarly, Miguel Marquez, from the municipality of Piar, in the state of Monagas, highlighted the excellent quality of attention provided by the personnel of the socialist company to the elderly and thanked the Bolivarian Government for this type of initiative.
Thanks to the efforts of the working class, the cement industry has been able to replace the importation of cement bags. These bags are now 100% made in Venezuela, resulting in an increase of more than 300% in the production and commercialization of this product in its 42.5 kg presentation.
CSC has become a benchmark of the New Socialist Business Management Model, where the organized working class has managed to promote all the productive processes of the industry. It satisfies the national demand through the Great Housing Mission (GMVV), Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor, among other great works, in addition to more than 25,000 customers throughout the country. In this way, the benefits to the cement working class are guaranteed and, the Venezuelan people’s welfare increased.
